Since 2014

The story of Loog.ai

Born from a real problem and never stopped evolving.

2014

The origin of the problem

The story of Loog doesn't start in 2025. It starts in 2014, when Bruno Gregório is invited by Humberto Carneiro and Luciano Penha to lead the Polifrete product within the Policard group, to drive traction for the electronic freight card in the market. We built a freight marketplace with over 2,000 autonomous drivers, connecting them with carriers.

2015

The turning point

The focus shifts from drivers and carriers to the source: shippers. At Algar Agro, a digital contracting model is born, generating R$ 8 million in savings in 7 months.

2016

Acceleration

Selected alongside 20 other startups from Minas Gerais for an acceleration program at Stanford University in San Francisco, the company undergoes a profound shift in vision, moving from local solutions to building a scalable model.

2017

End of a cycle

Polifrete, then part of the Policard Group, enters a new chapter after the group is sold to the French multinational Up Brasil.

2020

The buyback

With the new controllers' decision not to prioritize logistics products in Brazil, Gregório negotiates the buyback of 100% of the freight card operation, creating a rare opportunity for reconstruction.

2021

From card to Pix

The strategic shift becomes clear. The future wasn't in cards, but in payment without intermediaries. With the launch of Pix in Brazil, freight payments become 100% digital.

2022

The right question

A new reflection emerges. Paying for freight was no longer enough. It was necessary to know whether the amount paid was correct. The first studies on the use of artificial intelligence for pricing and future projection of logistics costs begin.

2023

Freight prediction

With support from the Government of Minas Gerais via FAPEMIG, development begins on the first freight cost prediction model, launched in 2024 with an agribusiness multinational.

2024

Digital scale

The operation surpasses R$ 500 million in freight payments made digitally, connecting shippers, carriers, and drivers in a single financial ecosystem.

2025

Loog.ai is born

After years applying artificial intelligence to logistics, Loog.ai emerges. With the entry of Rugles Taziri as co-founder, the AI Agents are born — digital collaborators capable of analyzing, negotiating, monitoring, and executing logistics operations. A new chapter begins. Simplifying Latin America's freight chain with artificial intelligence.

The Intelligent Ecosystem

The name Loog carries the meaning of infinite connection — the two "O"s represent a continuous cycle where data, decisions, people, and operations are always connected.

Loog Methodology

The 3 Ps of AI applied to logistics

An approach that transforms logistics operations from reactive to intelligent.

1st P

Precise

It all starts with precision. Reliable data, structured information, secure storage. Without precise data, there is no intelligence — only automation of errors.

2nd P

Predictive

With precise data, logistics stops being reactive. Anticipate freight behavior, future costs, and operational risks with 30, 60, 90, or 120-day projections.

3rd P

Proactive

AI goes beyond analysis and starts acting: it identifies risks, flags deviations, anticipates problems, and alerts about margin losses before they happen.

At Loog, we structure training, courses, and hands-on implementation so our clients can apply the 3 Ps in their daily operations. The goal: to transform logistics into a strategic area guided by intelligence — not by urgency.
